A Nice Swim

Here is a digital drawing I did today of a koi fish swimming! I was practicing using FireAlpaca and really liked how this one turned out! 


Fantastical Facts: A Nice Swim Edition:
  • I used some image overlay to create some texture in the water! By lowering the opacity, I was able to have the bottom layer show while still having a texturized top layer.   
  • This is apart of my art challenge for June! I won't be posting all of the drawings I've done/will do, but just a select few that I really like.

Animation for Interactivity and Games Week 5 Cont.

  This weekend, outside of class, I practiced creating an animation sequence of a character waving. I don't have much experience with animating a character and this is the first time I was able to animate a character successfully without it looking too janky or having the keyframes move too fast. I followed along with some more of the Unreal videos as best as I could. Although the fellowship videos are hard for me to understand, I feel proud of the work I have done so far on my own, since animating is not my strongest skill. I feel proud of the progress I have made so far with animating. I also continued to work on my midterm presentation and getting everything together on Dropbox.

It's My Party

  ***IMAGE FLASH WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO MOVEMENT OR FLASHING LIGHTS*** Here is my Illustrator Mandala project entitled, "It's My Party!" For this project we needed to take more complicated images than the Image Mandala and take them into Adobe Illustrator, simplify them, and make a mandala out of the images in Adobe Dreamweaver. These images were imported using Javascript files, so that way we were able to make cool changes to the images without having a disorganized code. Fantastical Facts: Illustrator Mandala Edition: This project is 6,261 lines total! This is by far the biggest project so far! A good amount of the lines were generated from Illustrator and then made into Javascript files, however, they are still counted in the total as they are referenced in the main source code.  It was a challenge in this project to find images that weren't too complicated so that way the code could run without crashing the computer.
